CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Omni Wellness Center seeks to get the word out about a Family Fun Festival being held on June 20, 2015. The event is free to attend; though an RSVP either through the Omni Wellness Center website or by calling the center is required for attendance. Event hours are between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and there will be door prizes throughout the day in addition to free lunches, free tee shirts, and discount shopping available. To keep things family friendly, there is a free kid zone that will feature face painting, games, and a bounce house.
Dr. Darcey Walraven Ladner is excited to announce the Family Festival. The festival takes place on June 20, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. "We see this as an opportunity for Omni Wellness Center to give back to the community, educate others about her chiropractic practice for people and animals, and to introduce new people to the benefits of chiropractic care," says Dr. Walraven Ladner.
In addition to the numerous freebies offered throughout the day, Dr. Walraven-Ladner is also offering a new patient special where patients who are new to the practice receive $320 worth of services for a $20 donation to The Dove House. "This is a win-win as far as we're concerned," says Dr. Walraven Ladner. "People who have never given chiropractic care a try will be encouraged to do so because the $20 donation is going to such a great cause, and we get to show our support for The Dove House which is such a great cause."
The Dove House is a children's advocacy center designed to minimize the trauma of the interview and investigation process for children who are victims of sexual abuse and non-offending family members.
The new patient special includes a consultation with the doctor, initial x-rays (if necessary), and orthopedic and neurological exams along with a report of the doctors findings.
The Omni Wellness Center takes place at the center, which is located on Couloak Dr. in Charlotte.
In addition to providing chiropractic care for the people who live in and around Charlotte, the Omni Wellness Center offers chiropractic care to area animals. Dr. Walraven Ladner was introduced to the benefits of chiropractic care for humans and animals at an early age and in a personal way. Since then she knew she wanted to help humans and animals, horses in particular, through the practice of chiropractic medicine.
