NEEDHAM, MA--(Marketwired - June 30, 2015) - For over 20 years, Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) has been the preeminent life science network for leading researchers and business experts from top pharmaceutical, biotech and academic organizations. Today the organization is unveiling a new corporate identity of Cambridge Innovation Institute (CII), which includes a logo, website and tagline of Research. Collaboration. Advancement.
Phillips Kuhl, President, states, "Cambridge Innovation Institute is designed to provide an overarching framework, allowing a clear representation and expansion of our diversified portfolio of products and services. Our dedication to research and development will remain as a core principle. This strategic reposition will not only aid our expansion into other markets, but will better represent the organization today, and in the future."
Cambridge Innovation Institute will divide operations amongst two divisions, Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) for all life sciences conferences, trainings and publications, and Cambridge EnerTech (CET) for all conferences pertaining to rechargeable batteries. Brands operating underneath Cambridge Healthtech Institute include Cambridge Healthtech Institute Conferences, Barnett International, Knowledge Foundation, Insight Pharma Reports, Bio-IT World, Clinical Informatics News, Diagnostics World and OpenHelix. Existing rechargeable batteries conferences that will make up the Cambridge EnerTech division include Advanced Automotive Battery Conferences, International Battery Seminar, Lithium Battery Power Conference, Battery Safety Conference, and Next Generation Batteries Conference. This reorganization will allow resources to be better positioned to focus on the high technology fields that our company services.
"This move appropriately aligns our brand strategy to reflect our current and future direction," says Jim MacNeil, VP of Marketing, Cambridge Innovation Institute. "We will continue to focus on high technology fields, with no limitations on verticals, which has been our challenge in the past. We are very excited with this move, and look forward to the opportunities in front of us."
Cambridge Innovation Institute is located in Needham, Massachusetts and has over 130 employees. No structural changes will be made to the company with this change.
