LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2015) - The Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) announced today that Sean O'Brien has been appointed as the organization's Vice President, Membership Programs.
Mr. O'Brien has an extensive background serving membership organizations and working with medical groups of all sizes and specialties. As Vice President, Membership Programs, he will be charged with developing and managing CAP's member/affinity programs to directly benefit the growth and prosperity of CAP's physician members' practices and build strong physician member relationships.

Mr. O'Brien has 15 years of experience in the health care industry, with a vast amount of knowledge in operations and membership services and programs. Prior to joining CAP, Mr. O'Brien worked at the Heart Failure Society of America as Senior Vice President, Development & Member Services. He also spent more than six years at the Los Angeles County Medical Association in progressively more responsible positions including Director of Membership, Director of Operations, and Interim Executive Director.
