TAIPEI, TAIWAN--(Marketwired - Jul 14, 2015) - Aqua Taiwan will be held from Sep. 30 to Oct. 2, 2015 at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, Taiwan. In line with market demand, Aqua Taiwan spotlights Taiwan's complete water industry supply chain from up, mid and downstream suppliers. To date, more than 103 exhibitors have signed for 164 booths to showcase their products and services at the event.
AQUA TAIWAN 2015 is an ideal platform for water professionals from home and abroad to showcase their latest tech, services and products. It is the largest exhibition in Taiwan focused purely on water technology and more than 4,500 visitors from around the world are expected to attend.
Editors from key markets around the world joined a TAITRA-led factory tour from June 17 to 18 to probe the factories that churn out much of the leading exported water-related equipment. Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) organized expedition included Zoey Chong (Assistant Editor of the Water & Wastewater Asia) of Singapore and Zakhar Maletskyi (Russian-language magazine WaterNet) from the Ukraine. Under the blazing sun of southern Taiwan, editors from Singapore and Ukraine found themselves in a van moving deeper into the hinterland on a quest to discover what makes this smallish island a leading global supplier of water tech and products.
On June 17, the press made it to TankPAC in Taichung, the world's largest manufacturer of pressure tanks, then TRIWIN, a leading producer of water dispensers and RO systems. They also toured the factory of Energy Management System (EMS), the world's first magnet-free intelligent electronic water meter manufacturer.
The next day, and even further south in Kaohsiung, the press popped into a full-scale Design-Build-Operate project, the Cheng-Ching Lake Water Treatment Plant operated by China Ecotek which daily pumps 540,000 tons of water. Motoring further south, the press checked out the submersible pump factory of HCP, that boasts, "Where there is water, there is HCP PUMP".
The trip wrapped up in Kaohsiung with a visit to the Long Chen factory that makes famous Taiwan Excellence awarded water dispensers.
The factory tour was one of several endeavors building up to AQUA TAIWAN, September 30 to October 2, 2015 at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. This dedicated show joins all the strengths of the industry.
