PJ said Goat Milk Stuff introduced Goat Milk Stuff candy with Caramels in Chocolate, Cinnamon and Sea Salt flavors. On Kansas City's Fox affiliate WDAF-TV's "The Morning Show," husband Jim and their 8 homeschooled children, ages 7 to 18, joined PJ to discuss how the family company, online at GoatMilkStuff.com, grew from a hobby making natural soaps for her children to now serving customers around the world.

Jim Jonas told "The Morning Show" viewers that "When PJ put the soaps in the shower, my fingers stopped cracking and splitting. It was amazing what it did for me, so we began to give it to friends as presents and everyone wanted to get more it. That's when we realized it could become a business."
Past national winner of Startup Nation's Leading Mom in Business annual competition, PJ previously appeared on the "Show Me St. Louis" program on NBC-TV's KSDK affiliate, where co-host Heidi Glaus asked her to explain how Goat Milk Stuff so successfully grew its product line.
She told "Show Me St. Louis" viewers, "We started with bar soaps and now have about 30 scents, and unscented soap bars for sensitive skin. Then, Goat Milk Stuff branched to lotions, liquid soap, deodorant, lip balm and bath bombs and we now have laundry soap among our natural products."
PJ said Goat Milk Stuff grew so quickly that husband Jim, a former executive and teacher, soon joined full time and that each child helps in age-appropriate ways from milking goats and doing farm chores to assisting in the office.
Asked for her advice on starting a home-based business, PJ said, "If you have a product that people can use, then believe in what you do, because that's going to filter through to your customers."
