Every year, artist Rosemary Bennett hosts other artists in an outdoor display; donations to the Calgary Food Bank are greatly accepted as part of this event. Come out and enjoy art, gardens, and enter to win door prizes!

Purolator Tackle Hunger

Purolator Tackle Hunger has been supporting food banks across Canada since 2003. Through a June campaign and Game Day food drives at CFL games across the country, Purolator raises hundreds of thousands of pounds of food for food banks every year. Join us for the August 15th game against the Ottawa Redblacks and help us to tackle hunger once again this summer!

YMCA Kids in Motion

Calgary Food Bank - 5000 11 St. SE

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Kids in Motion and YMCA day camps are heading out into the city to collect Food Bank donations in several communities from August 10 - 14th. Media are invited to meet a bus of YMCA campers stopping by the Food Bank with a drop off of donations on August 12.

Alberta's Irrigation Farmers want to share the sweetest corn on Earth with you! Come on down to the Calgary Farmers' Market on Saturday, August 22 and grab a FREE cob of roasted-until-perfect Taber corn. There will be loads of butter and flavorings to dress up your delicious snack just the way you like it or to try something new. Cash and food donations for the Calgary Food Bank are welcome.

YYC WingFest

The first YYC WingFest is taking over downtown Calgary, with an opportunity to sample wings from different vendors across the city. A portion of proceeds go to the Calgary Food Bank, so have your ranch and hot sauce ready!
