The Total Market Opportunity for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Component Suppliers Is Projected to Reach $8 Billion Over the 6-Year Period of 2015-2020

EUGENE, OR--(Marketwired - July 30, 2015) - China closed 2014 ranked first in the world in terms of total FTTx subscribers. However, the latest Akamai's State of the Internet Report ranked China 84^th in the world in average broadband connectivity speed.

The latest decisions of the Chinese government further accelerated deployments of Fiber to the Home with a target to replace all DSL connections in urban areas with fiber by the end of 2017.
