Leaders from the global MEMS/sensors supply chain will speak at MEMS Industry Group Conference Asia, including Bosch Sensortec, GE Global Research, SMIC and STMicroelectronics.
"The upcoming IoT-related markets introduce new requirements for CE MEMS and related sensors. While different application focuses and new constraints determined by the various domains impose new technical challenges, they also offer vast opportunities for existing and new sensors. MIG Conference Asia is the ideal forum to jointly examine these new opportunities." Leopold Beer, regional president Asia Pacific, Bosch Sensortec
"As the IoT drives explosive growth in sensor-enabled connected devices, sensor data analytics is increasingly vital to maximizing user experiences with connected products of all kinds. MIG Conference Asia is the perfect forum for discussing how tools and methods commonly used for sensor data analytics are creating new business models and engendering intelligent applications derived from sensor information." Ian Chen, marketing, Systems Architecture Software and Algorithms, Freescale Semiconductor
"Over the decades, advancements in electronics and mobile computing have brought new conveniences to our daily lives while simultaneously boosting productivity. As we move into the Internet-of-Things (IoT) era, innovations in MEMS and sensors have become increasingly critical to the ways in which we connect to each other and to the world around us, in evermore meaningful ways. MIG Conference Asia allows attendees to explore the nearly limitless opportunities for using MEMS and sensors in the IoT." Dr. Ty Chiu, CEO, SMIC
"Leveraging the power of smart sensing, cloud computing, advanced analytics and new levels of connectivity, the industrial Internet is beginning to shape and redefine the boundaries within which traditional industrial enterprises are being operated. Increased productivity, flexibility and responsiveness of connected machines are now the rule, rather than the exception as connected brilliant machines are empowering people at work. With Asian suppliers at the forefront of the industrial Internet, MIG Conference Asia provides a platform for exploring the industrial Internet with an international audience." Pengju Kang, executive technology leader, GE Global Research
"The next wave of MEMS development is moving toward actuation and, while the ripples from these beautiful little machines have been building slowly for years, they are converging with the Internet of Things. We are beginning to see new applications such as tiny mirrors that enable people to interact more naturally with technology, smaller, faster autofocus solutions for mobile phones, and new types of printheads for 3D printing -- and this is just the beginning. I look forward to exploring the next wave of growth in MEMS and sensors with MIG Conference Asia attendees." Benedetto Vigna, executive vice president, STMicroelectronics
