SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - August 11, 2015) - Draeger's Supermarkets, Inc. today announced that Chef Martin Yan, renowned chef and cookbook author, will host two cooking classes this fall. Yan, founder of Yan Can Cook and a celebrated chef, television personality and author, will host demonstration classes at the Draeger's Blackhawk and Draeger's San Mateo locations. During the classes titled "Entertaining at Home with Martin Yan," Yan will share the recipes and techniques to prepare a Chinese-inspired meal using traditional Asian ingredients such as tofu, seaweed, seafood and tapioca.
"Asian flavors continue to grow in popularity, and I plan to demonstrate how students can get the most flavor out of their food using the freshest and most natural ingredients," said Yan. "I have enjoyed working with Draeger's and the Draeger family through the years, and look forward to creating a fun and memorable experience for their customers."

The class at Draeger's Blackhawk will take place on Wednesday, October 21 at 6:30 p.m. Draeger's Blackhawk is located at 4100 Blackhawk Plaza Circle in Danville, CA. The class at Draeger's San Mateo will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 6:30 p.m. Draeger's San Mateo is located at 222 E 4th Ave in San Mateo, CA. Seats are available for $90 each.
