In this role, he will lead Comverge's regulatory and market development efforts in the United States by working with key stakeholders to shape policies which facilitate the cost-effective expansion of distributed energy resources. Mr. McCaffree is an experienced utility and regulatory professional specializing in cost-of-service regulation, utility rate issues and long-term planning.

Most recently, Mr. McCaffree served as director of state regulatory relations for the National Association of Water Companies. Prior to that, he held multiple roles at Opower including director, regulatory research and EM&V as well as director of government affairs. Mr. McCaffree also worked at the Edison Foundation's Institute for Electric Efficiency and at The Brattle Group.
