NEW LONDON, CT--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2015) - QDiscovery LLC, a premier provider of electronic discovery and forensic technology services, today announced David Barrett as its new Chief Executive Officer. Barrett brings more than 20 years of experience in legal technology and eDiscovery, most recently as Vice President of National Sales for DTI, and has built a stellar track record throughout his career.
Barrett joins a team at QDiscovery that includes founder and eDiscovery veteran Matt McCormack, as well as a core group of project managers and operations specialists that have deep roots in eDiscovery since the early days of Daticon, where Barrett, McCormack and other QDiscovery team members first met.
"QDiscovery and its team of industry veterans offer a unique depth of knowledge and experience in the eDiscovery industry. This experience, coupled with QDiscovery's exceptional customer service, talented project managers, and technology capabilities, has allowed it to achieve tremendous success in a short amount of time. In addition, the company's position as a growing, mid-sized service provider gives it a strong competitive advantage, as it allows QDiscovery to be highly innovative and flexible. I'm excited to join this talented group," said Barrett.
"We've created a unique corporate culture at QDiscovery -- one that excels in offering clients dedicated and responsive insight and guidance for today's complicated, data-rich eDiscovery projects. Dave's proven leadership and decades of experience in the industry will help QDiscovery achieve that next level of growth while continuing to build its reputation as a best-in-class service provider. I am proud to welcome him as the new CEO and am looking forward to working with him once again," said McCormack.
Barrett most recently served as Vice President of National Sales for DTI, a global legal process outsourcing company and one of the largest eDiscovery service providers in the world. In this role, he led business development and oversaw an extensive team that included regional managing partners, senior sales executives and service delivery teams. He also engineered the integration of sales teams from multiple DTI acquisitions. From 2011 to 2015, he grew revenue from new sales by 200%.
