PHOENIX, Oct. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OnTrac, the largest regional package delivery company in the United States, participated at the first annual Relay For Life of Downtown Phoenix event on Saturday, October 17, 2015. This is the first year that OnTrac participated as a Gold sponsor donating $1,500 to the American Cancer Society. The event took place at the Civic Space Center and included 150 participants walking to end cancer.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world’s largest fundraising event and most impactful by bringing communities around the world together for a common cause. The event symbolizes a celebration of life for those who have battled cancer, remembering loved ones lost, and taking action to finish the fight. Each Relay for Life event includes an opening ceremony, a lap for survivors, a lap for caregivers, a luminaria ceremony and a closing ceremony.
