Moeckel has a long and successful career leading real estate development and investment initiatives in the hospitality industry, having served in senior executive roles for several large hotel companies, as an independent director of a real estate investment trust (REIT), and as a general partner and Chief Investment Officer for a prominent sponsor of private hotel investment partnerships with large pools of domestic and offshore capital. As a member of the SIB Board of Advisors, Moeckel will meet regularly with SIB's management and provide guidance on future initiatives to promote the overall growth and development of the company.

The Board was founded in 2013, and meets regularly to discuss the direction and evolution of the company, and to collaborate on promoting new sales, increased efficiency, and sharing of information.
