TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 28, 2015) - Intent on raising both awareness and funds for research, JDRF Canada launches a National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM) campaign that celebrates the remarkable people who are, driven, ambitious and live with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The social media campaign is called 'T1D Looks Like Me' and celebrates the stories and individuals who live beyond T1D to accomplish their goals and dreams. The goal is to unite the T1D community across Canada as we join together to bring awareness to T1D and the need to fund research.
Learn about these amazing people and how you can make NDAM a success by raising awareness and funds towards finding a cure for T1D- and its complications from the 'T1D Looks Like Me' campaign. It will launch on JDRF social media channels on October 29, 2015 with photos, videos and stories of successful, ambitious individuals who don't allow the day-to-day attention to detail their health requires keep them from accomplishing their dreams and goals.
