The acquisition of TMP Direct increases SP Express’ distribution center network to seven centers spanning the United States and Europe and reaching over 800 million consumers with low-cost and rapid delivery options. In addition, the acquisition of TMP Direct expands SP Express’ Customer Care division and capabilities to include a full array of inbound and outbound services covering every communication channel from phone, email and live chat to rapidly emerging mobile and social media engagement.
The TMP Direct operation will continue to be run by existing leadership, under the oversight of Dan Collins, former president and now president of the SP Express Customer Care Division. For existing TMP Direct customers, including household brand names such as Crayola, Elizabeth Arden, WD40 and TracFone Wireless, the acquisition provides access to SP Express’ domestic and EU based distribution center network as well as their online marketplace marketing and management business through ChannelCode (www.channelcode.net).
