NCC sells property in Västerås

NCC is selling part of the largest development area in Västerås, the Förseglet 1
property on Öster Mälarstrand in Västerås, to the municipal housing company
Mimer for SEK 200 M.
The area currently comprises logistics and office premises. When the detailed
development plan is completed in 2017, the area is expected to provide space for
approximately 700 housing units.

“We are pleased with this sale. Now, we can work together with Mimer to create
attractive housing units at a faster pace,” says Joachim Hallengren, Business
Area Manager at NCC Housing.

The Förseglet 1 property is part of the largest housing development area in
Västerås – Öster Mälarstrand. The lakeside location and proximity to central
Västerås has generated substantial interest in the area.

“Mimer's goal is to build a large number of rental apartments in Västerås in the
coming years. By the purchase of the Förseglet 1 property, we ensure that Mimer
has buildable land in order to reach this goal,” says Anders Nordstrand, CEO
Mimer.

The transaction will be recognized as income for the NCC Housing business area
in the fourth quarter of 2015.
