BOSTON, Nov. 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cole Porter understood what, "You're the Tops," means. His song described people designated as "the Tops" compared to iconic places like the Coliseum, Louvre Museum, Tower of Pisa, Mona Lisa and even Mickey Mouse! "TOPS" conveys 'The Best.' The list of Trivago's Top Hotels in Northern Ireland presented last week, according to nationally syndicated travel expert Stephanie Abrams whose two three-hour radio shows broadcast in the US coast-to-coast and are podcast and archived at her family of award-winning websites, sAbrams.com and travelers411.com, contained only a few hotels that she designates as top hotels in Northern Ireland. The rest of the list, Abrams notes, "leaves out many truly top hotels in Northern Ireland and features many small hotels, inns, guest houses and B&B's which may provide fine service to travelers looking for that level of accommodation but cannot possibly be designated as "top" in NI hotels which, in my estimation, means BEST hotels. That list only presents a few of the best hotels NI has to offer. So many are not great hotels were not mentioned!"
Abrams, irritated by what she believes is a false-impression of what 'top hotels' in NI really are, presented her evaluation at sabrams.com/blog complete with photos taken on site during her visits to each with links to archived audio of interviews with top management or owners at each property. "I've been to every one of the hotels I've listed so the information is based on my experience and analysis and not the results of anonymous or inexperienced travelers providing their input. I had to correct the impression that Northern Ireland is bereft of hotels World-Class accommodations and service in gorgeous natural settings with extraordinary levels of luxurious pampering comparable to the best hotels in the world," Abrams notes. "This is not a list assembled from votes by anonymous people! This is credible information you can count on!"
With the dollar stronger than ever, most travelers can plan to stay for a night or more in these luxurious hotels and resort. By staying in inns and B&B's along the route, perhaps using those on the Trivago list, travelers can average the overall cost when traveling on a restricted budget. "Everyone should know what it's like to live the King!" Abrams notes. "If you can't manage to spend every night in one of NI's truly TOP hotels, choose to splurge at some point in your journey to create the most glorious memories of your visit to NI," Abrams advises.
Listed on Abrams' Top Hotels in NI are: Beech Hill Country House, Belle Isle Castle, Bushmill's Inn, Culloden Estate & Spa, Dunadry Hotel & Country Club, Galgorm Resort & Spa, Lough Erne Resort, and Slieve Donard. Additional excellent choices Abrams lists as: Bayview, Royal Court and Causeway Hotels.
Abrams' first travel guide, "1001 Reasons to Visit Ireland," will publish shortly.
