OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Three prominent keynote speakers will share their views on the business higher education landscape in Europe:
Andrew Kris, Founding Partner, Borderless is keynote speaker at the opening General Session on Nov. 26. Described as a 'seasoned executive search professional and business leader,' Kris pioneered the Borderless approach to executive search in 1997 — a global business focus and an uncommonly service-oriented approach that appeals to clients and candidates. Kris has asked his executive network around the world to share their expectations of business school graduates. He will share those findings in a presentation he calls, "Borderless Education."
Luis Álvarez Munárriz, Professor of Social Anthropology, University of Murcia; Member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, will deliver the keynote on Nov. 27. Dr. Munárriz is recognized as one of the most important innovators in the field of anthropological theory. He leads a research group comprised of anthropologists, psychologists, and economists, whose findings have appeared in several books, including: El poliedro de la conciencia: cerebro, interacción y cultura ("The Polyhedron of Consciousness: Brain, Interaction and Culture"). He has conducted field work in various communities on the models of the family, organic food, territory and landscape, and the topic of virtual identity on the Internet.
Roxana Nicula, Manager, Federal Organization Security of the Spanish Libertarian Party; President, Magerit Foundation for the Advancement of Freedom, is keynote speaker for a General Session on Nov. 28. Nicula is one of the co-founders of the Spanish Libertarian Party (P-LIB) in 2009. She was the number two Congressional candidate in the 2011 General Elections and the number three candidate to the European Parliament in 2014. She is an online communication specialist and translator, double-graduated from Law School at both Bucharest State University and Ecological University. Working since 1999 with the online sector, she had witnessed from the beginning the transformation that global society has been experiencing since the worldwide spread of the new technologies and Internet. Nicula will address ways in which the Internet and New Technologies help to pave the path for education and liberty.
Concurrent sessions will be offered in three educational tracks: Creating New Knowledge in the Classroom, Accreditation, and Collaboration. Student and Faculty Attraction and Retention will be the focus of two panel discussions. Business faculty, deans and chairs from ACBSP member schools in Singapore, China, Mexico, India, Canada, Ghana, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, and the United States are among the panelists.
