Phoenix, AZ, Nov. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RAADR, Inc. (OTCQB: RDAR), a technology and software development company that monitors cyber bullying and social media platforms through its artificial intelligent proprietary web-based application, yesterday attended a successful charity basketball event and spread the word to end the hurt of cyberbullying.
Ball Up, a professional street basketball team, played an intense game of basketball against the teachers of Independence High School in Phoenix as hundreds of students watched. The event was intended to promote charitable giving and positive energy in the community. 220 turkeys were given away to students in need, 20 of which were donated by RAADR. The game was intense and ended with Ball Up beating the team of teachers 96 to 69.
There was excellent synergy between the donors and partners at the event, as they all encourage students to stay on a path to success and be positive in general. Jacob DiMartino, CEO of RAADR, got to meet with the principal and vice principal of the school after the game to distribute marketing materials to students and parents.
“School officials really stand behind our message and are cognizant of the problems cyberbullying has created in school and out. They seemed eager to get our information out to parents and students alike and they really understood our value proposition. I anticipate future opportunities to work with Independence High School and other schools across the country. This could be the beginning of a great relationship,” said DiMartino of his meeting with the principals.
As a company focused on improving the lives of children, it is important to develop these relationships with educators, as children spend the vast majority of their time each day in a school setting. Forming these bonds with educators could create opportunities down the road for teachers to suggest RAADR to parents if their child/children become victims of cyberbullying.
