AlienVault Appoints Former FireEye Executive Catherine Kelly as Vice President of EMEA Sales

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2015) - AlienVault™, the leading provider of Unified Security Management™ and crowd-sourced threat intelligence, today announced that Catherine Kelly has joined the company as vice president of EMEA sales to expand its business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this role, the former FireEye vice president will be responsible for growing AlienVault's EMEA business, including partner and customer relationships.

Kelly joins AlienVault during a year of record growth, with bookings growth exceeding 65 percent year over year and new customer growth exceeding 75 percent year over year. In addition, the company recently closed $52 million in its Series E funding round, appointed former CSC executive Brian Robins as CFO, and was once again positioned in the Visionary quadrant of the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), recognizing the innovative value of AlienVault's affordable security solutions for organizations of all sizes.
