GHP initiates collaboration with Swedish Paralympic Committee

GHP and the Swedish Paralympic Committee have initiated collaboration which
provides Paralympic candidates and students at Elitidrottsskolan (Swedish Elite
Sports Academy) with access to medical care and rehabilitation at GHP’s clinics.
The collaboration provides athletes at Elitidrottsskolan and Sweden’s Paralympic
candidates with access to care at GHP’s clinics in Stockholm, Gothenburg and
Malmö.

– We are proud to be part of Sweden’s Paralympic effort and to be able to help
the athletes to perform at their very best. Elite athletes constitute a test of
our knowledge, both medically and service wise, and this contributes to our
continued development, says Daniel Öhman, CEO of GHP.

The Swedish Paralympic Committee wishes to contribute to the development of the
athletes and the staff and to offer them conditions that are as optimal as
possible, so that Sweden can be a successful sports nation at the Paralympics.
The aim is to have larger and more competitive squads, so that Sweden can be one
of the top 10 nations at the Paralympics.

– GHP’s strong network of clinics will strengthen and improve the capacity of
our medical function, but will also help us to ensure high-quality and
accessible care for our elite athletes aiming for the Paralympics, says Jan
Lexell, Chief Medical Officer of the Swedish Paralympic Committee.
