CTT SYSTEMS AB (“CTT”), the market leader of aircraft humidity control systems, announces Cair™ System VIP order from Comlux America LLC (Indianapolis, USA) to be installed during second part of 2016 in one Airbus ACJ330-200 VIP aircraft. This is the 82nd Cair™ VIP order in total for Airbus ACJ/Boeing Business Jet. “CTT is pleased to receive another order from Comlux America. We are delighted to once again work with Comlux (for the seventh time) and excited that we this time are selected for Comlux America’s first wide body VIP completion. CTT is honoured that Comlux continues to select our Cair™ System in order to meet its customer demand for enhanced cabin comfort and wellbeing,” says Peter Landquist, Vice President Sales & Marketing of CTT Systems. “Comlux America is very pleased to be working with CTT again. We had a very strong collaboration on a previous project which was a strong driving factor for choosing CTT. We look forward to working together with CTT on this new exciting project,” commented Arnaud Martin Executive Vice President of Operations for Comlux the Aviation Group, the parent company of Comlux America. Cair™ humidification reduces negative health and wellbeing impact from dry air on long-haul flights by maintaining the Relative Humidity on ground like levels that the human body is used and adapted to (i.e. human body and its membranes will not be exposed to quick de-hydration that otherwise is the case in an extremely dry cabin). The Cair™ humidification system hereby improves passenger relative comfort, health and rest by generating a relative humidity of approx. 20%, compared to 3-5% without our humidifiers. A higher humidity reduces dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases). The humidifiers are based on evaporative cooling technology that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria and improves air quality by reducing particles in the cabin air. Cair™ keeps humidity in balance with Zonal Drying ™ anti-condensation system that enables cabin humidification without any moisture related problems. Comlux America is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is the completion center dedicated to large VIP aircraft cabins. The center is fully approved by Airbus and Boeing.
