SIOUX FALLS, SD--(Marketwired - December 22, 2015) - Sammons Financial Group (SFG) recently joined Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls in dedicating a home to a local family. A project that began last year, SFG's sponsorship of the home included a $60,000 donation toward the cost of building the home, as well as volunteer hours contributed by employees of SFG Member Companies.
Beginning May 15, 2015, 187 SFG Member Company employees contributed over 1600 volunteer hours during business hours toward the construction of the home.

Habitat for Humanity recently honored SFG with the Construction Volunteer Group of the Year Award. Habitat Sioux Falls has built or rehabilitated 130 houses with low-income families, providing 200 adults and 511 children with simple, decent, affordable shelter, since its inception in 1989.
