Ubersmith Highlights 2015 Progress, Looks Ahead to New Year

Company’s business management software now serves over 9,000 datacenter and cloud users

NEW YORK, Jan. 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ubersmith, maker of an integrated billing, device management and help desk software suite, reported a year of solid revenue growth over 2014. In addition, the company now serves more than 200 customers worldwide, including more than 9,000 administrative users and 3 million clients, as well as some 200,000 devices.

Ubersmith launched two product updates in 2015 that deliver higher levels of customization for users and improved security via two-factor authentication and single sign-on, along with better performance and availability with database clustering. At year-end, Ubersmith initiated a beta testing program for version 4 of its software suite in anticipation of a first quarter 2016 launch.

The company enhanced its market visibility via analyst coverage from 451 Research and Structure Research, two leading firms covering the cloud and datacenter markets. Ubersmith also raised its profile at key industry events, including HostingCon, IMN Data Center and Cloud Services Infrastructure Forum and the Microsoft Cloud and Hosting Transformation Summit.

Ubersmith added key individuals in 2015 including chief technology officer, Dominique Archambault, director of solution architecture, Dan Brenner, and director of support, Rob Kuczynski. The year marked the first full year under the leadership of Kurt Daniel, president, who joined Ubersmith in late 2014.

The company also launched a new ubersmith.com website and a new documentation site.

"2015 was a year of great progress for our company on behalf of our customers," said Daniel. "We delivered a number of new features that enable our customers to better serve their clients with higher levels of automation and efficiency.”

Daniel continued: “In the year ahead, we expect to advance our business management suite further with the launch of our version 4 software and to further expand our team to better serve our customers. We will do this by building on the keys to our success: providing and supporting an open and integrated solution that is built specifically for datacenters and the cloud.”
