In his new role, Tricas will be involved in the oversight of 13 Associa branch offices throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Minnesota. He will also continue to serve as the division leader for the firm's field services and construction division Associa OnCall.
"Tosh has worn many hats throughout his illustrious community management career and is perfectly suited to take on the challenge of coordinating operations between multiple branches," says Associa Senior Vice President Chris Harrison. "His leadership over the years at the local level and within Associa's Home Office have undoubtedly prepared him for this new role."
Tricas has been involved with community management for more than 25 years, the last four of which have been as part of the Associa family. He was instrumental in the transition to a digital vendor platform and the development of the HOA industry's first mobile maintenance app specifically for use by managers. Tricas has been actively involved with the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for close to 12 years where he earned his CMCA, AMS and PCAM designations. He also sits on the board of directors for Associa Cares, the industry's largest philanthropic organization dedicated to helping families whenever disaster strikes.
A decorated U.S. Army veteran, Tricas graduated second in his class at the U.S. Army NCO Academy, Primary Leadership Course. Service awards include The Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Reserve Achievement Medal and Hawkeye Marksmanship Medal.
