Subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom Achieves 18% Energy Savings

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - February 03, 2016) - Smartcool Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE: SSC) (OTCQB: SSCFF) is pleased to announce its distribution partner Bricks and Bits was selected by the Property Management department of Magyar Telekom Nyrt, a leading Telecom provider in Hungary, to provide Smartcool's ECO3's as a solution to decrease the annual energy consumption on their high powered air conditioning systems.

Bricks and Bits installed Smartcool's ECO3 units in order to optimize the compressor run time on A/C systems chosen by Magyar Telekom. The initial evaluation period provided substantial energy savings without changing any of the system parameters. Most importantly the air conditioning systems provided the same temperatures in the technology rooms while saving real dollars and reducing CO2 emissions by 142,692 Kg/year.

Due to the success of the results, 92 systems in Budapest, Hungary are now benefiting from the Smartcool technology at the selected sites and Szakali Akos of Magyar Telekom states, "we are planning to extend the installation to further locations in 2016." www.telekom.hu
