MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwired - February 16, 2016) - Trinity Ventures, an early-stage, technology-focused investment firm that recently raised $400M for its twelfth fund, today announced that Schwark Satyavolu, most recently an executive vice president at LifeLock, will join the firm as a general partner next month.
Satyavolu's expansive work as a cofounder, CEO and public company executive has connected him to some of the largest institutions and most successful entrepreneurs in the world. As a trailblazer in the fintech space, Schwark has been sought out as a formal or informal advisor to several fintech startups over the years, including BillGuard and Personal Capital. He brings a wealth of enterprise and consumer technology experience to Trinity's already diverse portfolio.
Like many within Trinity's network of entrepreneurs, Satyavolu has a long history with the firm. He met Trinity Ventures general partner Gus Tai at a cook-off in 2007, and he subsequently became a Trinity portfolio CEO and independent board member and advisor to Trinity companies.

Satyavolu cofounded Yodlee, an early pioneer in heralding the consumer financial data ecosystem. The ground-breaking company, which went public in 2014, was the default platform provider for numerous financial technology apps and counted almost every major financial institution as a customer. He later cofounded Truaxis, a Trinity investment in the rewards management space, which he ran as CEO before selling the company to MasterCard. Tai led the investment and worked closely with Schwark as a member of the Truaxis board.
