OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - Feb 25, 2016) - RSA Conference 2016, Booth #4317 -- Interset will preview the latest version of its user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) Advanced Threat Detection Platform at RSA Conference 2016. This is a major evolution in security technology that surfaces high-risk threats and stops advanced cyber attacks.
The first public demonstration of Interset 4 will feature new connectors for the FireEye Threat Analytics Platform and for McAfee's Enterprise Security Manager. These new integrations rapidly surface anomalous activities associated with advanced cyber threats. They allow security teams to gain real-time, predictive visibility into attacks penetrating perimeter defenses to gain control over machines and accounts. Interset 4 also features an improved, fully integrated cyber-threat hunting tool, enhancements to the incident-response engine, and new analytic models to accelerate the detection and surfacing of compromised accounts, insider threats, and advanced endpoint threats.
Additionally, at RSA, Interset will showcase the Interset Threat Analytics Cloud (I-TAC), the industry's only big-data, behavior-analytics, threat-detection platform delivered as a cloud service.
Interset will be at the Moscone Center North Expo Hall in booth #4317, from February 29 to March 4.
"Behavior analytics-based threat detection has evolved significantly over the past year, as customers across all industries and government sectors have voiced needs for much more complete solutions," says Dale Quayle, Interset's CEO. "These enterprises need continually enhanced analytic models and more sophisticated cyber-threat hunting. They also need incident-response capabilities for rapid alerts, investigations, and to block attacks before sensitive data can be compromised. We're pleased to showcase our UEBA platform integrated with the latest SIEM and cloud-based threat-analytics solutions from FireEye and McAfee. We're also excited to highlight our cloud-based UEBA solution, which brings the full power of a big data platform to any company looking to stop IP theft."
The Interset 4 Threat Detection Platform features:
- A new connector for FireEye TAP, so that internal threats detected by Interset are correlated with threat-intelligence feeds and perimeter threats discovered by FireEye
- Integration with McAfee DXL/ESM--see our new demo detailing how Interset delivers inside threats with contextual forensics to make threat detection, investigation, and response seamless and effective
- Expanded Active Directory (AD) and LDAP, authentication, and access models to speed detection and surfacing of compromised accounts
- Enhanced cyber-threat hunting tool that associates high-risk threats and incidents with historic-event datasets to detect and respond to advanced threats
In honor of NSA's Day of Cyber -- a national initiative to address the cyber-skills crisis and raise the collective "Cyber IQ," Interset is hosting the Einstein "Are You a Genius?" challenge at RSA. Stop by booth #4317 to meet Professor Einstein, and to take our quiz for a chance to win an Amazon Echo speaker.
