Dr. Amit Patel, who originally hails from New Jersey, is a fellowship trained voice and swallowing specialist who earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and went on complete his residency at Rutgers University Medical School, located in the heart of the community he will now serve. Most recently, Dr. Patel served as a research fellow at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City under the esteemed laryngologist Andrew Blitzer, M.D., D.D.S.
