Steve Brandfield Joins Fiduciary Trust Company International as Managing Director and Business Development Officer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 9, 2016) - Fiduciary Trust Company International, a leading wealth management firm and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Resources, Inc., today announced that Steve Brandfield has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Business Development Officer. He is based in the firm's headquarters in New York City.

Mr. Brandfield joins Fiduciary Trust with over 20 years of experience assisting affluent individuals manage and preserve their wealth. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Glenmede Trust Company and has also held senior positions at Bessemer Trust Company and the Private Bank at UBS. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.

Mr. Brandfield's addition follows the recent appointment of Michael Cabanas as Head of Relationship Development for Fiduciary Trust International of the South. Mr. Cabanas worked at Fiduciary Trust from 2006 to 2013, rejoined the firm in 2016 and will focus on growing Fiduciary Trust's presence in South Florida.
