The Princess Ball Raises $65,000 for Make-A-Wish(R) Canada

TORONTO, ON --(Marketwired - April 19, 2016) - 500 guests and volunteers attended the 3^rd annual Princess Ball on April 17^th in support of Wishes for Olivia, which raises money for Make-A-Wish® Canada in memory of Olivia Grace White. The family-friendly charity gala, which took place at The Old Mill, raised more than $65,000 for Make-A-Wish® Canada through ticket sales, sponsorship, and an on-site silent auction. It was Wishes for Olivia's most successful Princess Ball to date.

Wishes for Olivia is happy to report that sponsorship for this year's Princess Ball more than doubled past events to contribute to the success of the annual event.

Run by Olivia's mother Jennifer White, Wishes for Olivia puts together this magical tribute to Olivia Grace White, who died suddenly at the age of 5 from an undiagnosed blood infection. The Princess Ball highlights her giving spirit and love of all things princess-related.

Activities at this year's Princess Ball were incredibly successful with the addition of new activities such as a medieval archery station, the Springfree trampoline station, Earth Rangers animal educational encounters, and highland dancing with the Breck School of Highland Dance. Princess Ball favourites like the spa room with face painting, hair adornment, and glitter tattoos, quiet play area, and photo booth were equally as popular.

The silent auction and raffle items, donated by local businesses and organizations, highlighted experiences such as Adele tickets, Westjet travel vouchers, a trampoline, and much more.

Volunteers, sponsors, and partners helped to make this the most successful Princess Ball to date.
