RENO, Nev., April 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PCB Solutions, a provider of high-quality printed circuit board manufacturing, is pleased to announce the winner of the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship essay contest. El Hadji Beye from North Central University was selected from more than 50 high-level applicants as the winner of a $1,000 scholarship for tuition and books.
PCB values higher education and has a strong desire to give back to students, in hopes of furthering their concentration on the manufacturing/engineering fields. PCB Solutions invited students from across the nation to participate in an essay contest where they were asked to discuss their views and ideas on the future global economy. Students were also encouraged to post a video with a short bio. In this bio, students were encouraged to discuss why education is important to them and what they would do with the scholarship money if awarded.
After reviewing applications that came both in the form of written essays and short video clips, Beye stood out for his discussion of the topic of Future Global Economy. Beye set himself apart with his tenacity in completing his civil engineering degree and his focus on his future in the United States workforce. A former resident of Senegal, West Africa, Beye grew up learning the trades and saw the importance of quality workmanship, worldwide.
