TAYLORVILLE, Ill., May 18, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Watson Inc. is proud to announce the donation of $2,000 to the Taylorville Emergency Food Pantry Building Fund. The check was presented to Don Readhead, Director of the Food Pantry. The presentation was made on May 17 by Philip Lee, Plant Manager at Watson Taylorville. Also present was Larry Peterson (President of the local Sertoma Club), Patty Hornbuckle (CEO Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce) and Linda Root (Volunteer at the Food Pantry). The Sertoma club will be matching Watson's contribution as part of their "New Food Pantry Construction Challenge".
The new building will provide a permanent home for the food pantry allowing it to continue to serve the community.
