PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - June 07, 2016) - Michael Schaeffer, former CEO and President of Pacific Nutritional (PacNut), has joined Kirkman Group, Inc. (Kirkman Group), to head Kirkman's newly formed Purity Nutraceuticals division. At the Kirkman Group, his title is Vice President, Sales.

Schaeffer has spent more than 27 years as a nutritional supplement company executive in the Pacific Northwest. He worked at PacNut from 2001-2016. Before that he was Vice President of Operations for NF Formulas in Wilsonville, OR.
Schaeffer's professional memberships include the National Affiliate -- American Chemical Society, the Association of Analytical Communities International and the American Herbal Products Association Board of Trustees.
