Abbyson Living Opens New 3PL Facility

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - July 12, 2016) - In a continuing mission to scale its distribution and expand its supply chain, Abbyson Living opened a new 3PL facility in Los Angeles this month. The new location can add up to an additional 200,000 square feet of distribution storage space to Abbyson's roster, bringing the company's total to 700,000 square feet.

In addition to the new space, Abbyson has integrated new technology, through a partnership with Weber Logistics, into its processes, designed to speed up the order and distribution path from start to finish. The goal is to ship product faster, filling orders from online retailers in 24 to 48 hours after they are received. Inventory will be managed to a 99.9+ percent accuracy level, aided by a full-featured WMS system. Items scanned at receipt are immediately visible via Abbyson's web portal.
