Today, the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority published a stress test comprising some 50 European banks. The test examines the European banking system’s resistance by means of a hypothetical crisis scenario, including a severe recession and a fall in property prices. The results show how well banks will be able to cope with loan losses.
