PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Aug. 01, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gama Operations Ltd., a leading provider of advanced telecommunication solutions, announced today that it was awarded a follow-on contract from the Israeli Ministry of Defense for supplying additional emergency interactive voice response (IVR) systems to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). Under this contract, Gama will provide and deploy adaptive IVR applications designed specifically for large-scale army reserve call-up and homeland security training.
Based on a proprietary IVR platform developed over the last two decades, Gama's voice broadcasting and mass notification platforms enable military organizations, defense agencies, and emergency management units to deliver millions of voice and text messages simultaneously over multiple communications networks, track the delivery process in real time, and provide data-driven and personalized interactions.
"Gama combines great technology with a team of software engineers who know what it takes to deliver exceptional IVR experiences," says Eyal Alon, CEO of Gama Operations. "Being selected again by the IDF as a supplier of reserve call-up systems in today's technology-driven battlefield is an important milestone in our long-standing relationship. We are convinced that this contract will pave the way for additional contracts from other public and private organizations, both in Israel and overseas."
