WESTBURY, NY--(Marketwired - August 15, 2016) - The Spectroline® PC-8820B UV EPROM/Wafer Erasing System is engineered for maximum irradiance uniformity with a nominal initial short-wave UV intensity of 70,000 µW/cm², producing the quickest and most complete erasure of programmed memory. The erasing cycle time is as fast as 90 seconds.
The unit consists of eight, ozone-free, low-pressure mercury vapor quartz grid lamp assemblies mounted on specular aluminum reflectors that produce up to four times the throughput of competitive systems.
The cabinet's extra wide and deep drawer capacity ensures easy loading of wafers. Adjustable tray inserts are designed to handle 15 - 6 in (150 mm), 8 - 8 in (200 mm) or 3 - 12 in (300 mm) wafers. A digital timer automatically resets after each erasing cycle, making repetitive operation fast, easy and error-free. A state-of-the-art internal cooling system offers maximum uniform UV intensity, while prolonging grid lamp life.
Also available is the PC-8820B-LT model, which has the same features as the PC-8820B, with the addition of a light tower. The light tower includes red/yellow/green signals to indicate the mode status at every stage of system operation. The two-piece modular cabinet is constructed of anodized aluminum and stainless steel.
