PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J., Aug. 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Smart Card Alliance today announced a new content portal, IoTSecurityConnection.com, as part of its expanded focus to provide educational resources and guidance for implementing secure Internet of Things (IoT) architectures using embedded security and privacy technology. The portal features relevant news, resources, expert commentary and thought leadership on the security and privacy of IoT for technology and service providers, IT and security experts, integrators, consultants and IoT enthusiasts.

The resource is part of the Smart Card Alliance’s recent announcement to expand its focus to securing the IoT ecosystem. Other recent initiatives in this market include the Alliance’s Internet of Things Security Council and the Security of Things 2016 conference.

The Internet of Things Security Council develops and promotes best practices and provides educational resources on implementing secure IoT architectures using embedded security and privacy technology.
