WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alliance BioEnergy Plus, Inc. (OTCQB:ALLM) (the "Company"), is very pleased to announce that affiliate Carbolosic, LLC received notice from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that filed and pending patent application ‘Retro-Aldol Reaction Products and Methods of Making Using the Same’ (Serial No. 14/773372) has been allowed. The Notice of Allowance concludes the substantive examination of the US Patent Application by the USPTO and will result in the issuance of a US patent after remaining administrative processes are completed in the next several weeks.
This marks the fourth (4th) patent to be issued for the CTS process and continues to strengthen the family of patents and intellectual properties surrounding the process and its various pathways. This current allowance focuses on the making of retro-aldol reaction products which are precursors to many fine chemicals and popular pharmaceuticals. The Company has fourteen additional patent applications still pending with various patent offices around the world surrounding the CTS process.
This retro-aldol pathway allows the Company to eventually wade into the multitrillion dollar chemical market utilizing the completely green CTS process and cellulose feedstock to replace petroleum and harsh chemical based products currently being used. According to a Pike Research report the use of Green Chemicals and processes will save the Chemical industry more than $65 billion by 2020.
