MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - September 14, 2016) - Agosto Inc., a tier 1 premier Google for Work partner, announced they have partnered with the State of Wyoming to advance the agency's 11,000 users to Google Apps Unlimited. In addition, Agosto will provide ongoing support to manage the seats, providing a first line of technical assistance when needed. Upgrading to Google Apps Unlimited gives the State of Wyoming unlimited drive storage, additional administrative features, and advanced auditing and reporting capabilities. Agosto has already helped the state experience faster turnaround times by working with Google on their behalf.
Flint Waters, State Chief Information Officer, Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services, said, "Agosto has already helped us reap significant benefits by seamlessly migrating from Google Apps for Government to Google Apps Unlimited. Under their strategic direction we're spending less and accomplishing more. In addition, they are Google gurus whose expertise benefits our entire IT team."
Agosto is taking Wyoming to a new level of productivity and cost savings by streamlining all departmental agencies to a single, Fedramp certified SKU which offers unlimited data storage. The ability to collaborate in real time with peers at other agencies and locations has enabled Wyoming to reduce travel times and expenses. For example, Google Hangouts allows IT field technicians to troubleshoot with their customers remotely, eliminating the need to travel in many instances.
Wyoming was an early adopter of Google Apps for Government in 2011, and the first state in the nation to adopt cloud-based products. With Waters as State CIO, Wyoming has evolved from departmentally configured entities to a more integrated enterprise model. Using Google Apps for Government, Wyoming had multiple SKUs to manage, burdening the IT department with tracking of numerous random renewal dates. Google Apps Unlimited has only one SKU, eliminating this administratively taxing process.
"Agosto has deep ties with Google and significant experience working with government entities," said Agosto President Aric Bandy. "Our government clients are finding that their IT teams receive fewer email support calls, freeing them up to focus on more strategic initiatives. This is especially vital in the public sector." Government agencies without dedicated IT departments also benefit from the administration simplicity of Google Apps. Agosto provides change management and training professionals to help entire agencies or diversified departments "go Google", migrating data from legacy systems and helping new users get started.
Google Apps Unlimited is the premium business version of Google Apps. In addition to everything available in Google Apps for Work, it provides unlimited storage and Google Vault for all users, as well as additional Drive administration, auditing, and reporting features.
Wyoming is in the initial stages of implementing Skykit, Agosto's born-in-the-cloud digital signage content management system (CMS). Skykit is the first and only end-to-end Google-based digital signage solution. It easily distributes content to any screen, anywhere in the world. Skykit allows almost any type of organization to easily scale communications to their constituents. Other early adopters of Skykit include companies in the food service, retail, education and ad networks industries.
