NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- British Airways today announced that it will offer more direct seats to London from Florida than any other airline, with the launch of a new service between Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and London Gatwick, beginning 6th July, 2017.
British Airways already operates from Miami, Tampa and Orlando and this new service, on sale today, will ensure Floridians have increased choice of service, airport and flight time, to meet any of their leisure or business needs.
The route will be operated by a 777-200 aircraft three days a week (four per week during peak summer). The aircraft features 275 seats across three cabins: 48 in Club World (business), 24 in World Traveller Plus (premium economy); and 203 in World Traveller (economy). The cabins have stylish interiors with individual on-demand entertainment systems. On the route, British Airways will provide free meals, snacks and beverages, including a full service bar. Customers can also benefit from a generous baggage allowance.

BA2169 will depart from Gatwick at 09:25 and arrive at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 13:45 while the BA2168 will leave Fort Lauderdale at 17:00, arriving into Gatwick at 06:30 the next day.
