Nasdaq Commodities is pleased to announce the commercial launch of French Power Futures contracts on November 1, complementing Nasdaq Commodities’ successful European energy product suites.
As of today we are have signed one Market Maker for the French Power Futures contracts and will evaluate additional Market Makers after commencement of trading.
The contracts launched are French Power Futures base and peak load contracts with maturities for years, quarters, months, weeks and base load contracts for days. The offering has been initiated by customer demand and is based on strong trading volumes in Nasdaq’s German power offering.
Fee Holiday
There will be no fee for trading and clearing of French Power Futures until end of March 2017.
