WHAT: | Now, in its 11th year, Marlborough Mall and the Calgary Police Service (CPS) have teamed up for the annual CopShop event to make the holidays a bit brighter for deserving youth. CPS officers will be paired with students for a day of bonding and holiday shopping. Each student will receive a $200 gift card to spend on gifts and a loot bag full of holiday treats, donated by Marlborough Mall. CopShop aims to foster positive relationships between the CPS and Calgary's youth. | |
WHO: | The Calgary Police Service and over 25 students are selected from local schools in the area. Participants are selected based on need, recognition of academic performance, sports achievement or volunteering efforts that are positively making an impact in the community. | |
