WALDORF, Md., Feb. 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake is pleased to announce two recent promotions to the Management Team. Bonnie Barrett, Branch Market Manager for Calvert County has been promoted to Vice President along with Diane Hicks, as Vice President and Director of Marketing.

Bonnie Barrett joined Community Bank in 2012 and has over 20 years of banking experience. As Vice President and Market Manager, she is responsible for developing new business in the Calvert County market as well as ensuring the needs of the Bank’s current customers are met. Bonnie earned her associate degree in business administration and graduated from Maryland Banking School in 2002.

In addition to her banking experience, she is also a dedicated member of the Calvert County community. Bonnie currently serves as President of Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum Board of Directors, Secretary of the Solomon’s Business Association, member of the Prince Frederick Rotary Club and volunteers for the Calvert Marine Museum and Calvert Hospice. Bonnie serves on the golf committee for the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce and is running for Mardi Gras Queen for the United Way of Calvert County.

Diane Hicks joined Community Bank in 2006. As Vice President and Director of Marketing, she oversees the strategic marketing initiatives, media and advertising efforts, community relations and marketing development to help the Bank grow and prosper.  Diane received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional through the Institute of Certified Bankers. She currently serves on the Community Foundation of Southern Maryland’s Grants Committee and the Board of Directors for the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center Foundation.
