VANCOUVER, B.C., April 2, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Associa British Columbia is pleased to announce Berit Hansen as its new branch president. Hansen will assume her duties on April 3rd leading all branch efforts for Associa British Columbia offices in Vancouver, Surrey and Kelowna.

Hansen arrives at Associa after serving for five years as Vice President of Operations and Managing Broker at another firm. Prior to that stint, she was General Manager & Managing Broker for Baywest Management from 2007 – 2012. She began her career with Baywest in 2004, and held the positions of Strata Manager Advisor and Strata Manager from 2004 – 2007. Hansen was also a Strata Manager at Atira Property Management in White Rock, BC from 2001 – 2004.
Last year's recipient of the Professional Association of Managing Agents (PAMA) "Industry Leader of the Year" award, Hansen also holds a Certified Professional Residential Property Manager (CPRPM) designation and has successfully completed the Managing Broker's Licensing, Strata Management Licensing and Property Management Licensing courses and examinations.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from Lethbridge University.
