Currently president and CEO of Integrated Healthcare Association, Dr. Rideout brings to his director role a rich background encompassing executive management, healthcare consulting, academia, technology and medicine. He will be a key contributor to MatrixCare’s strategy and product portfolio as the company continues its rapid growth across the LTPAC spectrum of care.

In his role with Integrated Healthcare Association, a statewide multi-stakeholder leadership group promoting quality improvement, accountability and affordability of California healthcare, Dr. Rideout oversees the nation’s largest and longest-running value-based performance assessment program, covering more than 10 million consumers. Dr. Rideout also serves as a director or advisor to several companies in addition to MatrixCare, including Amedisys Corporation, GE Ventures and the American Heart Association. He also holds academic appointments with Stanford University as Consulting Professor, Department of Health Research and Policy, School of Medicine and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
He has also held roles as Chief Medical Officer with information technology companies The TriZetto Group and Cisco Systems, as well as with Blue Shield of California, where he was also president and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation.
Dr. Rideout received a BS in Biology from Stanford University, a master’s in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
