CALGARY, Alberta, May 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CCI Wireless has announced that Chief Executive Officer Amir Bigloo will depart the company to pursue other opportunities. Bigloo was very influential in the company’s growth over his eight-year tenure as CEO.
“Since almost the very start of CCI, Amir’s guidance and leadership has been instrumental in building CCI Wireless into a leading provider of rural broadband throughout Alberta. The board of CCI Wireless and the employees will miss Amir’s contributions and dedication to the business. Some of Bigloo’s accomplishments for CCI include developing strategy, significant fundraising for the then-new wireless network, and cultivating relationships with all three levels of government. Bigloo leaves a strong executive team as his legacy.

Effective immediately, current Chief Financial Officer Adam Lamont will be serving as interim CEO at CCI Wireless. Bigloo will assist in the transition as required until June 9, 2017.
