First Bank Announces Commencement of Public Offering of Common Stock


HAMILTON, N.J., May 22, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Bank (NASDAQ:FRBA) announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of approximately $35 million of shares of its common stock. All of the shares to be sold in the offering will be offered by First Bank. In addition, First Bank intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day over-allotment option to purchase an additional 15% of the shares sold in the offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or the actual size or terms of the offering.

First Bank intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the support of additional growth.
