Laona, Wisconsin , June 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Forest Service WO-AQM Job Corps Support Branch issued on June 1 a solicitation in which it outlined plans to secure a contractor to provide on-site mental health counseling services for the Blackwell Job Corps Center in Laona, Wisconsin. The contractor who receives the contract must provide a licensed clinical social worker or clinical psychologist.
The U.S. Forest Service, in its solicitation, said that it is soliciting the services under FAR 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as authorized by FAR 13.000, and is interested only in providing the contract to a certified small business. The agency also outlined plans award a firm fixed-price contract to the contractor whose proposal is most advantageous to the government, and that it will evaluate proposals based on price, past performance, and technical capability.
The contract will be for one base year, with four option years.
Responses are due by no later than 12 p.m. MST on July 12, and must be emailed to Contract Specialist Jenney Rockman at jrockman@fs.fed.us.
The contractor who receives this contract also must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
